In our seven year existence, we can look back on a very exciting time with many positive meetings and rapid growth.
When we started Maxguard in 2009, we wanted to be different. Unlike companies in the market that are driven by shareholder value and return on investment, where employees are cost factors and customers the guide in ever changing strategies.
In our approach, we are setting “the peoples first” in a fair treatment of customers, employees and suppliers. Looking back, I can say that this was a success and we are still working with this credo. A culture of openness, fairness and good cooperation makes us and perhaps makes us more creative than other companies. Everyone is involved with the development process of a product. So sometimes we agree on ideas that were quite different from each other, but then prevail in the market. Such as our D-Class: it stands for safety footwear in stylish designs, initially designed only for women. This series was so popular that more and more men asked for it. That was taken up by Maxguard and we significantly expanded that range; it is now uni-sex.
The model Dacota won the prestigious international design award Red Dot in 2015; which makes us very proud. All new D-CLASS models can be found in our catalogue with many other innovations shown in this issue, all driven by the inspiration of our employees and continued with our partners.
Very important for us is also the good, open and many times very friendly relationships with our partners and those responsible in those companies. Because of the fact we highly appreciate these relations. With your knowledge and valuable feedback, we engineer the best products for every condition.
